Scope

This policy covers the current Android pre-release build of QuizOtter. We will update this policy before introducing accounts, advertising, purchases, analytics or cloud features.

Information on your device

The app stores downloaded question sets, best scores, Journey completion and Challenge Pals accessory progress locally on your device.

The current build does not require an in-app account. Device-stored information is not accessible to us simply because you use the app. Clearing app storage or uninstalling can remove this information; backup behaviour may also depend on device and operating-system settings.

Network connections and service providers

QuizOtter connects to its quiz content service to download categories, questions and Journey data. Hosting services necessarily receive connection information such as IP addresses and request details and may keep operational/security logs. The current app does not upload your local quiz scores or accessory progress as a cloud-sync feature. App-store and Android services may independently process download, update, backup or diagnostic information under their own settings and policies.

Advertising and analytics

The current build does not include advertising or third-party behavioural analytics. We do not use the current app to build advertising profiles. The website and support-email practices are described separately in our website privacy policy.

Support messages

If you contact contact@moonoxy.com, we process your email address and the content you send to provide support. Screenshots and logs are optional; remove unrelated personal information before sending them. Do not send passwords, payment details or verification codes.

Your controls and requests

You can manage locally saved data through the app features available in your version and Android’s app-storage settings. Clearing storage can permanently remove progress. For information you have sent directly to us, email us to request access, correction or deletion, subject to applicable legal requirements.

Retention, security and children

Local progress remains until removed by you, the app or the operating system. Support records are retained for as long as reasonably necessary to handle the request and meet legal obligations. We take reasonable security precautions but cannot guarantee loss-free storage. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us for review and appropriate deletion.
